As part of enhancing the Jordanian-Dutch economic partnership, the Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA) hosted a delegation from the Dutch Embassy in Amman for a productive dialogue focused on collaboration opportunities in the technology, water, agriculture, and entrepreneurship sectors.

During the meeting, Mr. Jamal Badran, Vice President of JEBA, emphasized the deep strategic relationship that has existed for decades between JEBA and the Dutch Embassy. This partnership has led to JEBA’s appointment as the official representative of the "BPM" program in Jordan, aimed at supporting and transferring Dutch expertise to Jordanian companies. He also recalled joint cultural and business initiatives, such as the “Dutch Evening” event, which helped introduce JEBA members to Dutch culture, music, and products.

Badran stressed the importance of establishing institutional mechanisms for sustained communication between the two sides to maximize the benefits of funding programs and trade missions, particularly to support small and medium-sized businesses and women-led entrepreneurial initiatives.

Mr. Fawaz Qattan, Secretary-General of JEBA, highlighted the significance of facilitating business visas and suggested ideas to employ Jordanian talents remotely in the Dutch market, especially in the information technology sector. Both sides reaffirmed the importance of empowering women, supporting small businesses, and fostering investment in the green economy.

The meeting was attended by a distinguished group of JEBA members representing various economic sectors, which added a practical dimension to the discussions, reflecting the realities and aspirations of the Jordanian private sector.
