The Board of Directors of the Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA) held a meeting with Stefano Sannino, Director-General for the Middle East and North Africa at the European Commission, in the presence of the EU Ambassador Pierre-Christophe Chatzisavas, JEBA President Ali Murad, board members Mohammad Al-Qaryouti, Mohammad Al-Samadi, Ahmad Al-Salakh, and General Manager Hussam Saleh.

The meeting focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between the European Union and Jordan, supporting the Jordanian private sector amid regional and economic challenges, and exploring mechanisms for cooperation in trade and investment.

Sannino reaffirmed the EU’s commitment to Jordan and expressed readiness to organize the Jordan-EU Investment Forum, a workshop on Syria-related sanctions, and to support JEBA’s transformation into a European chamber.

Board members emphasized the importance of activating European investments and directing them toward ready-to-launch projects in education, healthcare, and industry. They also presented recommendations to enhance Jordan’s economy, including developing public-private partnerships and expanding preferential rules of origin.

Mr. Ali Murad affirmed that the meeting reflects the shared will to transform the partnership into tangible achievements that support sustainable development in Jordan and the region.
