As part of efforts to strengthen the Jordanian-Dutch economic partnership, the Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA) hosted a delegation from the Dutch Embassy in Amman for a fruitful dialogue session focused on collaboration opportunities in the sectors of technology, water, agriculture, and entrepreneurship.

During the meeting, Mr. Jamal Badran, Vice President of JEBA, emphasized the longstanding strategic relationship between JEBA and the Dutch Embassy, which led to the association’s appointment as the official representative of the PUM program in Jordan—an initiative aimed at supporting and transferring Dutch expertise to Jordanian companies. He also recalled the success of joint cultural and commercial initiatives, such as the “Dutch Evening” event, which introduced JEBA members to Dutch culture, music, and products.

Badran highlighted the importance of activating institutional mechanisms for sustained communication between the two sides to maximize the benefits of funding programs and trade missions, especially in support of SMEs and women-led entrepreneurial initiatives.

Mr. Fawaz Qattan, Secretary of JEBA, stressed the need to ease visa procedures for businesspeople and proposed ideas for remote employment of Jordanian talents in the Dutch market, particularly in the IT sector. Both sides emphasized the importance of empowering women, supporting small businesses, and boosting investment in the green economy.

The meeting was attended by a distinguished group of JEBA members representing various economic sectors, adding a practical dimension to the discussions that reflect the reality and aspirations of the Jordanian private sector.
