The Jordanian European Business Association (JEBA), in cooperation with the Spanish embassy in Amman and the staff of the commercial attaché at the embassy, organised a Spanish-Jordanian night that witnessed discussions with representatives of various economic sectors.
Ali Murad, president of the JEBA, commended the Spanish embassy for their efforts to achieve the highest levels of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, according to a JEBA statement.
Murad also said that the association will regulate a number of initiatives within its future plan aimed at creating more awareness among the Jordanian business community to enforce economic relations between Jordan and Spain.
Spanish Ambassador Miguel de Lucas in Amman praised the diversity of relations between Jordan and Spain in all fields, which are based on historically rooted, stressing his country's will to further cooperation.
The meeting involved a presentation of investment opportunities in Spain, as well as areas of cooperation and trade exchange between Jordan and Spain, and a discussion of the possibility of enhancing commercial opportunities.
The statement said that the JEBA will organize a series of meetings with several embassies of the European Union in Amman during the coming period to build more avenues of communication and economic cooperation.
